I call this look "God of Harajuku" because a) the sweater print (duh) and b) almost everything was bought in Harajuku.

You really need to see the shade of purple on the knit, it is so beautiful I could cry. Actually some people did cry because it was the last one in the shop and there was NO WAY anyone else was getting their hands on it. If you've ever been to the SPINNS store in Harajuku then you'll know that it's pretty wild and busy all the time. Well, it's even crazier on the Sunday afternoon right before Halloween when everyone and their tiny kids were in costume. Incidentally, I wore this sweater for the staff pictures this year, heehee!

The skirt is from BUBBLES, straight across the road from SPINNS. Honestly the sizes there run a little small for my tall and busty foreign body but I always make a point of dropping in every time I'm in Tokyo. Firstly, I adore the fabulous staff who I honestly believe are the best-dressed group of people in the city. Secondly, literally everything is on trend, even if you don't know it yet. My recent gym sessions must be paying off because I had no trouble fitting in to this PVC skirt, one of the shop's original items. I love the sexy texture of the fabric combined with the respectable knee-length cut.

I put it all together with my new House of Holland shoes and favourite 90s grunge accessories. Thanks as always to my good friends at F.E.A.R. and EXIST for the awesome leather rings.

P.S. No, that is not how I spell my name, but the purikura machine doesn't speak Irish
P.P.S. I wasn't doing purikura alone (although I secretly want to), this was just a solo shot
