Frozen face, waiting for ramen!

So much has been said about the beauty of Matsushima and, to be honest, I thought I had seen it all. But the leaves reflected so clearly on the still lake really took my breath away. Unfortunately this event happens just once a year. If anyone is considering a trip to Northern Japan, I highly recommend trying to see this illumination. If you don't mind freezing your nose off, you're in for a treat.
