Keep On Fighting

12:50 AM

Food for thought.

This is the last in my series of short crappy posts.

Blogging service resumes as normal tomorrow - yay!

I actually have a file on my laptop called "emergency". It contains one-off photos that I can dip into whenever I don't have time to put together a decent post.

This one is good though.

It's a sign I pass on the way to my favourite Indian restaurant.

I don't like making jokes about English mistakes when someone has clearly put a lot of effort into this.

Actually, I think it's kind of inspiring.

The broken English enhances the message - don't let your limitations or disadvantages get in the way of doing what you want to do.

If I were to make a joke though, I would mention that this sign happens to be located in a highbrow part of town , near a university and populated by people who should know better.... ;)

  9. さらまり - In this case I guess it was the owner of the restaurant! The cynic in me wonders if he wanted to appeal to the university students...

  14. To be honest, that completely describes the way I try to think. Try, because it's always hard when you're failing at something to think positive. But I feel like thinking negatively and complaining won't get me anywhere closer to my goal. So I really like this message.

The Engrish isn't that bad, either. It's cute. :3
