Stationary In Every Sense

12:11 AM

Cos I ain't movin' out from under these blankets!

The first snowfall has hit Sapporo and it's creeping southwards.

Here in Sendai it won't snow for another few weeks or more but it's getting very cold.

Most of my foreign friends have got their kotatsus out but I'm trying to brave it as long as possible.

I am staying inside my nest of blankets though!

So here are some pictures I should have posted last month.

So many new pretty diaries get released in Autumn and Winter that I can never resist!

Do you keep a cute diary or planner?

I find it so hard to keep them going but I have to buy one each time!

This diary is from the Disney Store and the stickers are from KiddyLand.

The pink pen in the first photo was a free gift from the Disney Store.

Clearly I spend too much money in there and they want to keep me sweet! orz

  12. omg the journal is super cute! I remember going to kiddy land when I vacationed in tokyo and wanted to bring the whole store back with me! and I agree that every girl needs pretty/cute stationary =)

  13. the Alice one is especially cute! I know what you mean. Even where we live near Tokyo, there was only a couple of weeks between summer and suddenly winter. Well, that is exaggerating, but it seems like a nice Autumn is getting so short.

  14. So why is Japan so proud of it's four seasons then??? We demand a proper Autumn!

  15. Kiddy Land is a dangerous place to go to for sure, haha! Fortunately the one in Sendai is much smaller but they sell Dolly Wink lashes that are so hard to resist!

  16. Well, Sapporo isn't really near me so I think I'll be safe for a little while longer. Pray for me!

  17. I think kotatsu is the best invention ever. Sometimes I just fall asleep until morning, haha. I think every country should use them!

  18. Little notebooks like that are so handy! I always try and keep something like that in my bag, even if I forget my diary!

  19. You should find out who it is, haha! I bet if you post a picture of it then SOMEBODY will know, right?

  20. Yes! But everything in the Disney store is charming, that's the problem! ><

  21. Transfering college sounds like a great excuse to buy new stationary! Lucky you! At least most stationary is kind of cheap so that it doesn't matter if we dont use them...right?

  22. When you arrive in Japan you're gonna buy so much more, haha! By the way, I sae your question. Sendai isn't very far from Tokyo, it's 1.5hrs on the shinkansen or you can take an overnight bus that's about 5hrs. Very easy to travel!

  23. I think you can order one online! Probably so expensive though >< I remember my friend in Ireland said that she was going to MAKE ONE! Crazy, haha!

  24. Too weak for sure! XD I can't believe you didn't get a chance to go into the Disney Store, you should have told me. Next time!

  25. Sounds lovely! Some people think stickers in diaries look immature but really I think they're fantastic! <3

  26. Oh man it's already snowing in Sapporo? And I know they have snow in nothern Europe, oh god...it's only a matter of time until the snow comes here TT

I love the stationary you got. The cute planners always tempt me in Japan, but I have to calmly remind myself that I am too lazy to use one haha!

  27. lol, you know it, sister! We should start a campaign called "We Want our Autum Back", lol. As you know, I've been in Sydney and then now in Seattle for some weeks and when I Skype back to Japan with Sakie it seemed like literally overnight it went from her being dressed in a tank top to wearing layers of sweatshirts, lol

  28. I am so anal about my schedule book. It always takes me such a long time to pick out the perfect one, it can`t just be cute it has to be practical and have enough space for all my notes & to-do lists! Then, I get stickers for the calender section and buy a new, matching pen that will go with the cover. If only I could be so organized in the rest of my life!

  29. Stupid snow, time to batten down the hatches soon! I think you should buy a planner when you come here next time. Maybe it will motivate you - or you could just use it to look busy and in-demand!

    ReplyDelete
  30. Haha, that's classic! I have certain requirements too and then there are things that I find hard to resist, like a map of the world included. Planners make fools of us all!

  31. Japanese planners are the cutest! I used to buy a new one every year however for my new 2011 one, it is just a plain black one as I've found it more convenient to have one with American holidays listed...hehe. ;)

  32. Haahaa, I love how you're trying your hardest to hold out before turning on some heat! I did the same with oue electric heater but finally I've given in already, too cold! I love the mini-Mickey stickers! Great for planners and such :)

  33. Omigosh, it's all so cute!!! >.<***

Haha! I am the EXACT same way~ I can't resist the urge to buy them (I actually got an Alice one, as well, when I was still in Japan :D), but it's almost impossible for me to keep up with them... >.>

    The stickers are ADORABLE~!

And you're so cuuute! Haha! don't worry, I never want to get out from under my covers, either~ ESPECIALLY not when it's cold~
I hope you stay warm! ♥

  34. Plain black probably gives people a much better impression of you too! It's probably ok here in Japan but if I whip this out back home they'll think I'm crazy!

  35. If the heater goes on then my bills go up and my clothes fund goes doooown. So what's a little chill compared to that, haha?

    ReplyDelete
  36. I'll do my best not to freeze! Yay for Alice love but boo to the shops for forcing us to buy such lovely things that we don't use properly. I blame them!

  37. Ahhh how cute ;A; I love Alice in Wonderland items ^^
